Designed for Precision in Compactness
Ade Stingray is meticulously designed to fit the smallest and lightest red dot to any pistol mounting plate, slide, or cut compatible with RMR/SRO, Holosun 407C/507C/508T footprint. At around 15-20% shorter than major competitors, Ade Stingray offers an ultra-short design, making it perfect for pistols with optic cuts and plates designed for RMR.
Iron Sight Integration
Ade Stingray features a unique iron sight curve at the end of its body, along with two white dots on the curve. This design turns the rear of the red dot into a "backup iron sight," providing an extra layer of accuracy for certain full-size optics-ready pistols. The ultra-short design creates a distance/gap that enables the red dot to function as a Co-Witness backup sight, in addition to the LED dot and the pistol's iron sight.
Compatibility and Practicality
For non-optics ready pistols that require an optic plate or adapter to replace the manufacturer's rear sight, Ade Stingray’s rear white dot acts as a pistol factory original rear sight for Co-Witness. This sight does not fit optic plates/cuts made for Doctor type footprint. It comes with screws for several optics-ready handguns but does not include a picatinny mount or specific handgun plates.
Battery and Operation
Equipped with a single CR2032 battery (included), Ade Stingray GREEN dot sight provides one year of battery life. The sight is always powered on with automatic brightness adjustments. The advanced technology ensures the sight draws only 700 microampere, offering a very long battery life. The brightness adjusts based on environmental conditions, and the sight will "sleep" in a very low power mode when not in use.
Design and Features
At approximately 0.88oz/25grams, the sight is light and durable, made from hard-coated aircraft aluminum and multi-coated glass, not a plastic body with polymer lenses. The sight has a 6 MOA RED dot with dimensions of (Length) 1.6" x (Width) 1.1" x (Height) 0.93". The rubber cover included helps preserve battery life when not in use.
