ADE NUWA features a hard-coated aircraft aluminum body and multi-coated glass, ensuring a durable and clear viewing experience. It is not made of plastic with a polymer lens, making it more reliable under various conditions.
ADE NUWA is the first and only red dot with an RMS/RMSc footprint featuring a TOP BATTERY LOADING system. This means you can change the battery without removing the sight, eliminating the need for resighting and saving ammunition. The battery life ranges from 500 to 800 hours depending on brightness settings.
With a 2MOA red dot for precise aiming and a weight of approximately 15.5 grams (0.55oz), the dimensions are (1.5") x (0.88") x (0.89"). ADE NUWA comes with screws suitable for several optics-ready handguns but does not include mounting plates like a Picatinny mount or specific handgun mounts.
A unique feature of ADE NUWA is an iron sight curve at the end of the body, along with two white dots on the curve. This creates a backup iron sight for when the red dot is not in use. The ultra-short design provides enough distance on larger pistols for Co-Witness functionality, combining with the LED dot and the pistol's iron sights.
For non-optics-ready pistols, ADE NUWA's rear white dot functions as a rear sight, allowing for Co-Witness with the factory rear sight. ADE NUWA is manually activated through a simple on/off switch. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn it on or off, and a quick press adjusts the brightness from low to high.
